The NT 944 HX is designed for professional and industrial use. Although specifically designed for these uses; the NT 944HX is well suited for home computing where reliabity is also desired.

Added performance is achieved using Intel's HX chipset on the NT944 through its parity checking and error correcting memory capabilities, thus providing exceptional reliabity and speed never before seen in the Pentium® class.

Decoupling of electrical noise is achieved using many Tantalum capacitors. Nothing beats the NT 944HX for reliability and speed in the Pentium® class.

The same design concepts used in the NT 944HX are also available in the industrial single board computer (NT944s-iHX) for 19" rackmount applications, with the added features of SCSI and a watchdog timer.
